The annual General meeting of Khalsa Sports Club was held yesterday to discuss about the future plans of the club. After discussing various prospects, it was decided that club should not just focus on the hockey section, they should come forward for other community services like education, elderly service, cultural development etc. Also club should widen it’s sports section by adding more sports like football, badminton ,.cricket , hiking etc.
Club declared to start a NGO under the name of “Khalsa Club ” . All the sports and other community services will be done under the flag of this NGO. Mr Kuldeep Singh Buttar was elected as president of the NGO. Mr Buttar told that this NGO will not be limited to a group of a particular community or nationality , anyone from any religion or any nationality can join the NGO as the motive of this organisation is community services only .
Whoever is willing to serve is welcome .
